As with any Christian church, the most important thing that we do is worship the Living God. We have Sunday Worship services at 8:30 am in our Harmon Pavilion outside with nature and at 10:30 am in our spacious sanctuary following Sunday School in various campus locations at 9:40 am. Special services are held throughout the year on Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Christmas Eve. The Lord's Supper is celebrated on the first Sunday Worship service of each month, as well as during these special services.

Children's Church

Held during worship, children's church is designed especially for preschoolers who have outgrown the nursery but are not ready to sit through an entire worship service. Children begin worship with the entire congregation, participate in a children's message and then depart for a time of learning and fellowship that is geared to their level of understanding. Nursery Infant and toddler nurseries are available during Sunday school and worship in the Good Shepherd School building. Each nursery is led by a staff nursery worker and a volunteer member of the congregation.

Our Safe Place Policy sets up nursery guidelines to help parents feel safer about leaving their children in someone else’s care – especially those new to our church family. We can assure parents that we have trained and screened our staff and volunteers to provide the best care. We have also begun using a nursery paging system. Parents are given a numbered pager so that the nursery workers can get in touch with them if necessary. We also use the pagers to ensure that the children only leave with the person who dropped them off since parents have to return the correctly numbered pager when they come to pick up their child.

Choir

The backbone of our music program is our choir. The choir invites participation from all who have musical talent and desire to put it to use in the Lord's service. Rehearsals are scheduled August through May at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday before the worship service.
